| Takeme2tuscany: tina, do filipinos like to make people eat? My
friend says they do, which would explain why the guy at work always
offers us food.

| I've been pretty MIA lately. So I apologize to all my stalkers
out there! haha. Umm, nothing new really. Job:
check. New place: check. So far so good. I'm enjoying
things right now, but getting itchy with the warm weather coming
back. I need to run around or take a dance class or
something. But for now, I gotta pass out.
Till next time....

| Today was my first day at my new job! I'm working at Washington
Hospital Cancer Institute as a Clinical Research Associate. I'm
not entirely sure what that means, but I think I'll be administering
epidemiology studies on newly diagnosed breast and lung cancer patients
as well as following up on the patients we've already approached.
Today all I did was read some online training stuff and follow people
around. Then I drove out to Hyattsville for my new hire
orientation where I signed a few papers, filled out some forms,
learned about benefits etc. I work 8-5 except Wednesdays, which
are 7:30-5. I'm very excited. Shout out to Erin for hooking
me up!
This past weekend I went with Brandon to one of his card shows in
Chantilly, and so since we were there we hit up the kids at FIND, which
was a fun little adventure . It
was nice to see all the old D6 heads from the day. WE'RE
OLD!!! hahaha. To all the D6 beach week crew (the original
cast members) our next mission is to tag some pictures of Patpaya on
his facebook... daaaas riiight.
oki, im pooped. peace.

| Wow, it's been a long time since i've updated. Well, to sum up
the summer... research in the Tuma lab @ CUA proved fruitful.
This summer I worked on her alcohol project. I'm second author in
the abstract that we've written and Dr. Tuma is using some of my
pictures I took during senior year in her paper (protein trafiicking
project). It was certainly the best job after college that I
could ask for. Today was my last day in the lab.
Thankfully, my last experiment worked so I went out with suave.
I also went to 3 weddings this summer (1 in St. Louis and 2 of them in
the Philippines). I was in the Philippines for 3 weeks and got
food poisoning in my last week there. It took 2 weeks to recover
(HOLY CRAP:p) As soon as I got back, I moved into my new
apartment in DC. It's nothing less than AWESOMELY
SWEET! I'm still kinda moving in actually.
Tomorrow I have a job interview. I hope all goes well, but just
in case it doesn't that's all the info that I'll tell right now.
Wish me luck!
Oki, that's the summer in a nutshell.
